The department provides assistance to patients with inflammatory processes of the pelvic organs, bleeding, tumors of the uterus and appendages, prolapse and prolapse of the genital organs, pregnant women in the second and third trimesters with obstetric and extragenital pathology, as well as qualified gynecological care for children and adolescents.
The department works closely with the staff of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology of the Belarusian State Medical University; consultations are held with the professor and associate professors of the department for all severe patients and all incoming girls. If necessary, additional examinations are carried out and related specialists are involved.
Gynecological department No. 2 is designed for 40 beds (since 2018, 30 beds for adults and 10 pediatric gynecological beds to provide care to children and adolescents under 18 years old). In 2018, the renovation of the department was completed. The department has 2, 3 and 4-bed wards, 1 and 2-bed wards with individual care and two single superior rooms with a separate bathroom, kitchen and TV.
All doctors are proficient in modern methods of examining and treating gynecological patients and provide qualified assistance. Always ready to provide medical assistance.
We offer the following gynecological surgeries and diagnostic procedures:
surgeries on the uterus and appendages using laparotomy (extirpation of the uterus with and without appendages, removal of myomatous nodes with preservation of the uterus, removal of cysts with preservation of the ovary.)
Laparoscopic operations: removal of myomatous nodes, removal of ovarian tumors with urgent histological examination, checking tubal patency, separation of adhesions, tubal plastic surgery for infertility,
All operations in children and adolescents are performed laparoscopically.
Therapeutic and diagnostic operations for gynecological diseases (hysteroscopy, hysteroresectoscopy, separate diagnostic curettage)

The department provides qualified gynecological care to children and adolescents in Minsk with the following gynecological diseases: bleeding, trauma, inflammatory processes, abnormal development of the genital organs, tumors of the genital organs.
The department is fully staffed with nursing staff. All nurses have 1 or 2 qualification categories, are characterized by diligence, a responsible attitude to work and are friendly to patients.
