About the department

The obstetric department of pregnancy pathology of the 1st City Clinical Hospital is a structural unit of a multidisciplinary clinical hospital. Located on the first floor of the maternity hospital. The department has 50 beds.

The department is part of the City Center for Cardiovascular, Endocrine and Nephrological Pathology in Pregnancy. Pregnant women from antenatal clinics in the clinic's service area are hospitalized in the department. And in accordance with the profile of the City Center, pregnant women with heart and vascular diseases, rheumatological diseases and connective tissue diseases are sent to us from all over the city of Minsk; endocrine (diabetes mellitus, diseases of the adrenal glands, pituitary gland, thyroid gland) diseases; acquired non-infectious kidney diseases (glomerulonephritis, polycystic kidney disease, nephropathies).

The employees of the department achieve good performance in their work in close cooperation with the departments of obstetrics and gynecology and endocrinology of BSMU.
