MCPUD is an institution of the second level of prenatal diagnostics and is designed to provide highly specialized ultrasound examinations to pregnant women and gynecological patients.

At the MCPUD, all methods of fetal examination are performed, including in 3D-4D modes, extended echocardiography of the fetus, Doppler study of blood flow in the vessels of the uterus and fetus; as well as ultrasound examination of the pelvic organs using color Doppler mapping (CDC) and Doppler studies of the uterine, ovarian arteries and arteries of neoplasms.

The department is equipped with high and expert class ultrasound scanners .

• Ultrasound of the uterus and appendages transabdominal and transvaginal
• Ultrasound of the kidneys, adrenal glands and bladder (+ with determination of residual urine)
• Ultrasound of the abdominal organs and kidneys
• Ultrasound of the spleen
• Ultrasound of the scrotum
• Ultrasound of paired and unpaired joints
• Ultrasound of the prostate gland with bladder and determination of residual urine (transabdominal)
• Ultrasound of the liver and gall bladder (without determining the function and with determining the function)
• Ultrasound of the pancreas
• Ultrasound of the thyroid gland with superficial lymph nodes
• Ultrasound of the salivary glands (or submandibular or parotid)
• Ultrasound of the mammary glands with superficial lymph nodes

The department's doctors constantly improve their skills by taking specialized courses and participating in scientific conferences and seminars.

Advisory assistance in complex diagnostic cases to the doctors of the prenatal center is provided by the dean of the Faculty of Public Health and Healthcare of the Institute of Advanced Training and Retraining of Healthcare Personnel of the Belarusian State Medical University, Candidate of Medical Sciences, Associate Professor, Ultrasound Diagnostics Doctor of the Highest Qualification Category Irina Vladimirovna Tikhonenko .
