Prevention of acute respiratory infections

Annually, acute respiratory infections, including influenza and coronavirus infection, account for more than 98.0% of infectious diseases.

The most effective way to prevent influenza and coronavirus infection caused by the SARS-CoV-2 virus is vaccination.

We remind you of the need to comply with current recommendations for the prevention of acute respiratory infections.:

- avoid close contact with people with symptoms of diseases;

- if possible, avoid crowded places or limit your stay in these places.;

- maintain hand hygiene (wash your hands with soap more often or use hand sanitizer if necessary);

- ventilate the premises as often as possible, if necessary, carry out wet cleaning,

- clean surfaces that come into frequent contact with household detergents and disinfectants.;

- observe "respiratory etiquette" – a set of simple rules of behavior in public places aimed at limiting the spread of respiratory diseases:when coughing and sneezing, it is necessary to use a handkerchief, it is preferable to use disposable paper handkerchiefs that are discarded immediately after use; in the absence of a handkerchief, sneeze and cough into the crook of the elbow, rather than into the palm of your hand; try not to touch your face with unwashed hands.
