Procedure for providing medical care

 foreign citizens

in accordance with the norms of the Law of the Republic of Belarus dated June 18, 1993 No. 2435-XII “On Health Care”, the Law of the Republic of Belarus dated January 4, 2010 No. 105-Z “On the legal status of foreign citizens and stateless persons in the Republic of Belarus”, Decree of the President of the Republic of Belarus dated August 25, 2006 No. 530 “On insurance activities”

Categories of foreign citizens who receive emergency (emergency and emergency) medical care free of charge.

Foreign citizens and stateless persons permanently residing in the Republic of Belarus (who have received a permanent residence permit and residence permit), with the exception of citizens of the following CIS member states: the Republic of Armenia, Kazakhstan, the Kyrgyz Republic, the Republic of Moldova, the Republic of Tajikistan, the Republic of Uzbekistan, Ukraine*Article 5 of the Law of the Republic of Belarus of June 18, 1993 “On Health Care” 
     
Article 5 of the Agreement on the provision of medical care to citizens of member states of the Commonwealth of Independent States, signed on March 27, 1997 in Moscow
Citizens of the Russian Federation: 
      
- permanent residents of the Republic of Belarus (who have received a permit for permanent residence in the Republic of Belarus and a residence permit); 
     
-Heroes of the Soviet Union and holders of the Order of Glory of three degrees; 
              
- temporarily residing in the Republic of Belarus and working in institutions (organizations) of the Republic of Belarus under employment contracts;
Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Belarus and the Government of the Russian Federation on the procedure for providing medical care to citizens of the Republic of Belarus in healthcare institutions of the Russian Federation and citizens of the Russian Federation in healthcare institutions of the Republic of Belarus, signed on January 24, 2006 in St. Petersburg.

       *Citizens of Ukraine and stateless persons who arrived in the Republic of Belarus after February 24, 2022 and do not have temporary residence permits or permanent residence permits have the right to affordable medical care on an equal basis with citizens of the Republic of Belarus (Basis: Decree of the President of the Republic of Belarus dated August 30, 2014 No. 326 “On persons arriving in the Republic of Belarus”).
