In recent years, in European countries, including Belarus, such a giant plant as Sosnovsky's hogweed has become widespread. Possessing rapid growth, winter hardiness, resistance to pests and diseases, exceptionally high seed productivity, it displaces native species of herbaceous plants in open spaces - along roads, power lines, along the banks of rivers, lakes and canals, on abandoned lands, wastelands, parks and places mass recreation of people.

The severity of the problem of Sosnovsky's hogweed is complemented by the fact that it is unsafe for human health.

  • avoid exposure to direct sunlight for the next 48 hours;
  • Do not apply various ointments and sprays (panthenol, boric vaseline, zinc ointment) to the burn surface without a doctor’s recommendation;

Parents should never self-medicate! It is necessary to seek help from a medical institution as soon as possible!
