The State Traffic Inspectorate

is conducting a preventive action

"Stop parking"

The purpose of the campaign is to draw

public attention to the urgent problems of misuse of parking

spaces intended for the disabled.

Traffic police inspectors conduct raid measures to monitor compliance with the rules of stopping and parking vehicles in places intended for the disabled, near administrative buildings, shopping malls and social facilities, including with the involvement of tow trucks.

The State Traffic Inspectorate

reminds that

Disabled persons of groups I and II, as well as persons transporting them, have the right to park their car in a place marked with a sign "Disabled"

.

Disabled persons of group III and persons transporting them have

the right to park in such places and use the appropriate sticker

only if the disabled person has musculoskeletal disorders.

In addition to the above

-mentioned persons, persons transporting disabled children have the right to park in places for vehicles

with disabilities.

In case

of stopping or parking a vehicle without an engine installed on it

Police officers have the right to forcibly tow the disabled person's identification mark at a place designated for parking disabled vehicles, as well as creating conditions for threats

to road safety.
