Blood tests
General blood analysis
- For correct results, the procedure must be carried out only on an empty stomach. It is mandatory to exclude any fatty foods from the diet the day before the test, and the last dinner no later than 18:00
- The day before the test, avoid physical and thermal stress (bath, sauna, hot bath or shower), be sure to refrain from drinking alcoholic and low-alcohol drinks, and do not smoke
- It is necessary to donate blood before taking medications and other diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
These recommendations are inherent in most diagnostic procedures for blood
Additional restrictions when taking some specific tests:
Blood sugar (glucose)
- Refrain from brushing your teeth and drinking hot drinks (tea, coffee)
- It is not recommended to donate blood for sugar during an infectious disease, as the glucose level will be increased
Blood chemistry:
- One of the most important analyzes consisting of several indicators. It is also influenced by many factors. One of them is the influence of many foods. Therefore, before taking the test, consult with your doctor about what needs to be excluded from your diet for the most accurate study of BAC indicators.
- Before taking the test, you need to sit quietly for 15-20 minutes so that the body comes to a state of rest (it is not recommended to move suddenly or have a lively conversation)
Hormonal panel:
- When submitting them, you must adhere to all the above rule
- Hormone testing is performed according to individual indications as prescribed by the attending physician.
Sex hormones:
- In addition to all of the above, it is mandatory to exclude sexual contact
- If you are taking hormone-containing medications, exclude them and, if not possible, notify your physician of their use and name
- For women, to get reliable results, it is necessary to take this type of test on different days of the cycle:
- For FSH (Follicle Stimulating Hormone) - days 3-7 or 20-21 of the menstrual cycle.
- For LH hormone (Luteinizing hormone (LH) - the beginning of the cycle (no later than day 8) or in the final cycle (on day 19-20).
- Testosterone and estradiol - no special indications or requirements for testing
- Progesterone - for the most reliable data, it is carried out only on days 19-21 of the cycle
Thyroid hormones:
- It is necessary to avoid iodized salt and avoid drugs containing iodine.
Urine tests
General urine analysis:
- To carry out this analysis, it is necessary to perform careful hygiene of the genital organs.
- Conduct collection only in a clean container
- Take it early in the morning after waking up, drain the first portion (1-2 seconds) and only then, without stopping urination, take it into the container. For analysis, 50-100 ml is enough. urine
- Immediately deliver the material to the laboratory (the portion should only be taken in the morning; collecting it in the evening is strictly prohibited)
Urinalysis according to Nechiporenko:
- When taking this test, it is necessary to carry out the most thorough hygiene of the genital organs and collect only the middle portion of urine (i.e., collect only the middle portion of urine into a container during urination).
IMPORTANT! It is necessary to deliver a portion of urine to a medical facility for analysis as quickly as possible!
Urogenital material
Microscopy of urogenital smear:

Stool analysis

Sputum collection (general):
