Individual management of childbirth

Childbirth is carried out during the day by the head of the department or an experienced doctor with the first (highest) qualification category, in the evening and at night - by the responsible doctor on duty or a doctor with the highest or first category. The postpartum woman is observed in an individual single prenatal ward.

During the daytime (from 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.), spinal or epidural analgesia can be performed to relieve labor pain if indicated in a favorable obstetric situation, a compensated condition of the fetus, and the absence of green coloration of the amniotic fluid. It is also possible to provide pain relief during childbirth using analgesics and antispasmodics .

Before the period of pushing begins, the patient may periodically be in an upright position (on a ball). Long-term CTG monitoring is performed to assess the condition of the fetus.

At the patient’s request, it is possible to administer “Dianatal-gel” to facilitate the dilatation of the cervix and prevent the occurrence of ruptures of the soft tissues of the birth canal (paid service).
