The trade union committee of the health care institution "1st City Clinical Hospital" together with the Belarusturist Unitary Enterprise organized an excursion trip to Zaslavl and to the Ulitka Park for young specialists, their mentors and interns. The chief physician of our institution, Olga Petrovna Esmanchik, and the chairman of the trade union committee, Elena Stepanovna Ivashkevich, took part in the trip.
Our excursion began with an overview of the city of Zaslavl, the center of which has been declared a historical and cultural museum-reserve. On its territory there is the Transfiguration Church of the 10th century, the Catholic Church of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary of the 18th century, the Zamechek settlement of the 10th-11th centuries, the complex of burial mounds of the 10th-11th centuries, the settlement of Val with the former Calvin Cathedral of the 16th-17th centuries. We visited the local museum and exhibition complex, its unique hall of tapestries - masterpieces of Belarusian art based on the ancient history of our lands, and looked at the collection of musical instruments collected from all regions of Belarus. We have touched the rich historical and cultural heritage, national traditions, which is a powerful source of understanding our native history and spirituality, an integral part of the national heritage, the European and world cultural process.
In the “Snail” park we learned many interesting details about the life of African and Mediterranean snails, which are distinguished by their incredible size and unusual color. We tasted an exquisite French delicacy - Escargot snails. During lunch, parting words and wishes for young specialists and intern doctors were heard from the chief physician and the chairman of the trade union committee.
During the day spent together, we were all charged with positive energy and good mood.
I would like to thank UE “Belarusturist” for the superbly organized excursion.
