The Republican, regional and Minsk city committees of the Belarusian Trade Union of Health Workers began an active discussion of changes and additions to the Basic Law of the Republic of Belarus, which were submitted for public discussion.
Chairman of the Belarusian Trade Union of Health Workers Vyacheslav Shilo emphasized that the industry trade union, while welcoming the preservation in the draft of the new Constitution of norms relating to increasing the availability of medical care and preserving the health of citizens, also considers important the emphasis placed in the document on the need for each member of society to take care of their health and the formation of a healthy way of life in general.
He also noted that the analysis of the proposed changes and additions to the Basic Law is of a nationwide nature and is aimed at protecting the fundamental rights and guarantees of every person living in the Republic of Belarus, stability and unity in society, preserving the historical memory of the Belarusian people and supporting youth from the state.
