"Hello, school!"

08/31/2021

The new school year and the amazing holiday of September 1 will begin very soon. It is on this day that first-graders hear their first bell. For many kids, this is a long-awaited day, a kind of new milestone when a new life begins. This is probably why this holiday, Knowledge Day, is so exciting not only for children, but also for their parents.

But not all parents have the opportunity to purchase everything they need for their children. The annual charity event of the Belarusian Trade Union of Health Workers “Trade Unions for Children” “Let’s get the children ready for school!” is aimed at providing assistance to children with special needs, from low-income families, large families and others in need. August is especially troublesome for parents of schoolchildren, because getting their child ready for school is not an easy task. The trade union organization of the Healthcare Institution “1st City Clinical Hospital” annually takes part in providing financial assistance to trade union members for the new academic year.

First of all, attention is paid to guardians of minor children, low-income people, large families, single mothers, as well as families raising a disabled child, and, of course, those whose children are going to first grade.

22 large and 10 single-parent families received financial assistance from the primary trade union organization of the 1st City Clinical Hospital. More than 76 families of our employees received financial assistance to prepare their children for the new school year.

Material assistance from the trade union budget to employees amounted to 3,350 rubles.

The trade union committee congratulates employees raising schoolchildren on the beginning of the new school year and wishes them patience and good luck, and the children good grades and true friends.
