POLICY of the primary trade union organization of the health care institution “1st City Clinical Hospital” of the Belarusian Trade Union of Health Workers regarding the processing of personal data
1. This Model Policy defines the activities of the primary trade union organization of the healthcare institution “1st City Clinical Hospital” of the Belarusian Trade Union of Healthcare Workers (hereinafter referred to as the trade union organization) with regard to the processing of personal data and taking measures to protect them in accordance with Article 17 of the Law of the Republic of Belarus dated May 7, 2021 No. 99-3 “On the protection of personal data” (hereinafter referred to as the Law).
The approval of the Trade Union Organization Policy regarding the processing of personal data (hereinafter referred to as the Policy) is one of the measures taken to protect personal data provided for in Article 17 of the Law.
The policy explains to personal data subjects how and for what purposes their personal data is collected, used or otherwise processed, and also reflects the rights available to personal data subjects in this regard and the mechanism for their implementation.

3. The trade union organization processes only those personal data that are necessary to fulfill the stated goals and does not allow their excessive processing.
4. The trade union organization stores personal data in a form that allows identification of the subject of personal data for no longer than required by the stated purposes of processing personal data.
5. The trade union organization transfers personal data to third parties with the consent of the subject of personal data, except for cases provided for by legislative acts.
6. The subject of personal data has the right:
6.1. to withdraw your consent if, for the processing of personal data, the trade union organization contacted the subject of the personal data to obtain consent. In this regard, the right to withdraw consent cannot be exercised in the case where processing is carried out on the basis of a contract or in accordance with legal requirements (for example, when conducting public control or considering a received appeal);
6.2 to receive information regarding the processing of your personal data by a trade union organization containing:
- location of the trade union organization;
- confirmation of the fact of processing of personal data by the trade union organization;
- his personal data and the source of their receipt;
- legal grounds and purposes of processing personal data;
- the period for which his consent is given (if the processing of personal data is carried out on the basis of consent);
- other information required by law;
6.3 require the trade union organization to make changes to your personal data if the personal data is incomplete, out of date or inaccurate. For these purposes, the subject of personal data attaches the relevant documents and (or) their duly certified copies confirming the need to make changes to the personal data;
6.4 receive information from the trade union organization about providing your personal data processed by the trade union organization to third parties. Such a right can be exercised once a calendar year, and obtaining relevant information is free of charge;
6.5 demand from the trade union organization a free termination of the processing of their personal data, including their deletion, in the absence of grounds for the processing of personal data provided for by the Law and other legislative acts;
6.6 appeal actions (inaction) and decisions of the trade union organization that violate his rights when processing personal data to the court in the manner established by civil procedural legislation.
7. To exercise his rights related to the processing of personal data, the subject of personal data submits an application to the trade union organization in writing or in the form of an electronic document (and in the case of exercising the right to withdraw consent, also in the form in which such consent was received) respectively, at the postal address or Internet address specified in part five of paragraph 1 of these Regulations. Such a statement must contain:
- surname, first name, patronymic (if any) of the subject of personal data, address of his place of residence (stay);
- date of birth of the subject of personal data;
- statement of the essence of the requirements of the subject of personal data;
- identification number of the subject of personal data, in the absence of such a number - the number of the document identifying the subject of personal data, in cases where this information was indicated by the subject of personal data when giving his consent or the processing of personal data is carried out without the consent of the subject of personal data;
- personal signature (for a written application) of the subject of personal data.
