April 26 – International Day of Remembrance of the Chernobyl Disaster
38 years ago, on April 26, 1986, a disaster occurred at the Chernobyl nuclear power plant. To one degree or another, its consequences affected many European countries. But Belarus suffered the most.
On the International Day of Remembrance of the Chernobyl Disaster, honoring of participants in the liquidation of the consequences of the Chernobyl nuclear power plant accident and citizens resettled from the territory of radioactive contamination was organized. They will be provided with financial assistance.
We thank and show respect to these heroes who are among us, whose selfless service deserves honorable recognition and support.
