IV Plenum of the Minsk City Committee of the Belarusian Trade Union of Health Workers

On February 17, 2022, the IV Plenum of the Minsk City Committee of the Belarusian Trade Union of Health Workers took place.

The event was attended by Deputy Chairman of the Republican Committee of the Industry Trade Union Elena Latushkina, Deputy Chairman of the Minsk City Association of Trade Union Organizations Olga Supranovich, Chairman of the Health Committee of the Minsk City Executive Committee Elena Bogdan, chief doctors of healthcare institutions in the capital and chairmen of primary trade union organizations.

Summing up the activities of the city committee to protect the labor and social economic rights and interests of workers and outlining the tasks for 2022, Georgy Budrevich noted that 2021 was not an easy year, but the work of the entire trade union activists was coordinated, effective and efficient.

The chairman of the capital's industrial trade union thanked the trade union activists, social partners and higher organizations for their cooperation and support in resolving issues of trade union activities.

The Chairman of the Health Committee of the Minsk City Executive Committee, Elena Bogdan, noted the high level of work of the Minsk City Committee of the BPRZ and thanked the trade union for its cooperation. She also said that during the meeting with the Chairman of the FPB, Mikhail Orda, long-term plans for cooperation were discussed.

Deputy Chairman of the Republican Committee of the Belarusian Trade Union of Health Workers Elena Latushkina, noting the high achievements of the trade union activists of the capital, focused the attention of those present on the need to continue to pay special attention to promoting the idea of ​​trade union membership and to actively involve new members in the ranks of the industry trade union.

Participants of the IV Plenum of the Minsk City Committee of the BPRZ unanimously approved the Declaration of support for the referendum on amendments and additions to the Constitution.

The text of the document was read by the chairman of the capital’s industry trade union of healthcare, Georgy Budrevich.

He emphasized that in this important period for the country, the trade union must join forces to convey to every Belarusian true information about the upcoming event and the draft Constitution.

Also at the IV Plenum of the Minsk City Committee of the BPRZ, awards of the industry trade union were presented to a number of healthcare workers - badges “For work in the name of life” and “115 bastards of the trade union movement”.

Among the awarded members of the trade union are such famous doctors as Elena Bogdan, Viktor Isachkin, Alexander Beach, Sergei Prusevich, Deputy Chief Physician for the Medical Department of the 1st City Clinical Hospital Remsha Marina Ivanovna and others.
